The NCAA Final Four is an American tradition that started in 1939. From Selection
Sunday to the Sweet Sixteen, to March Madness and the Elite Eight each process leads to the road of the final four. The final four focuses on the last four teams remaining in the playoffs commonly known as the knock-out tournaments (also known as the semi-finals). The men’s tournament begins with 65 teams. The first game is played by the two weakest teams deemed by the NCAA Selection Committee then the countdown begins.
