The final four focuses on the last four teams remaining in the playoffs commonly known as the knock-out tournaments (also known as the semi-finals). The men’s tournament begins with 65 teams. The first game is played by the two weakest teams deemed by the NCAA Selection Committee then the countdown begins. In 2009, the Final Four will make its’ way to the Motor City, the site of the 2008 PGA Championship, the 2006 Super Bowl, the 2005 MLB All-Star Game, and the 2004 Ryder Cup.
